The following terms and conditions represent your agreement with Fichley Cabs. Booking a taxi and using our service implies your unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions as presented in this agreement.
Fichley Cabs, "we," or "us" refer to the company providing the service. "You" encompasses any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.
2.1 You are required to allocate enough time for your journey to ensure punctuality, including adherence to flight check-in times for airport transfers. Fichley Cabs cannot be held responsible for delays resulting from insufficient time allocation or your unavailability at the scheduled pickup time.
2.2 You are responsible for requesting a vehicle of suitable size for all passengers and luggage. We do not guarantee accommodation for excessive luggage. Please note that a child, regardless of age, counts as a single passenger.
2.3 Individuals requiring wheelchair access should specify this at the time of booking.
3.1 Our pricing is based on information provided by you. Unless otherwise stated, all prices are exclusive of VAT, which will be charged separately if applicable. We reserve the right to adjust the provided quote in the event of substantial itinerary changes.
3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the designated landing time and covers airport parking costs. Any waiting time exceeding this period will incur charges at the standard Fichley Cabs waiting rate. While we will endeavor to accommodate flight delays based on updated flight information, we are not obligated to do so.
3.3 Upon accepting our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review this confirmation for accuracy. Failure to notify Fichley Cabs of any discrepancies may result in delays or additional costs for which we will not be held responsible.
3.4 Payments for our services can be made in cash, by credit card, or debit card.
4.1 You are accountable for the behavior of all passengers during the journey. Cleaning costs may be imposed for any soiling, damage, or adverse impact on the vehicle caused by passengers.
4.2 Eating, drinking, and smoking in the vehicle are strictly prohibited.
4.3 All children in the vehicle must be adequately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.
4.4 We are not authorized to transport more passengers than permitted by licensing or insurance.
5.1 If you need to cancel a booking with Fichley Cabs, please do so as soon as possible. Cancellation charges may apply if you cancel after dispatch. These charges will be based on the time and distance covered by the driver up to the point of cancellation.
5.2 For bookings made through our online system, canceling before dispatch may incur a charge against the original payment.
6.1 While we make every effort to ensure your timely arrival, we are not liable for losses resulting from delays beyond our control. Under no circumstances will Fichley Cabs be held responsible for losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 You assume full responsibility for your luggage.
6.3 In the event of a vehicle breakdown during your journey with Fichley Cabs, we will strive to provide an alternative vehicle to minimize disruptions.
6.4 You will not hold Fichley Cabs liable for any expenses, damages, costs, or losses arising from actions or omissions of anyone in your party.
6.5 None of the parties involved may exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or matters deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or decline a booking immediately if a vehicle or driver is put at risk due to abuse, violence, or damage caused by you or any other passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.
8.1 Fichley Cabs may subcontract its obligations as outlined in this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement.
8.2 Fichley Cabs retains the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time by updating this page. Please periodically review these terms to stay informed of any changes. Existing bookings will be executed at the rates in effect at the time of booking.
8.3 We handle, process, and use information in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement represents the complete agreement between Fichley Cabs and yourself.
8.5 These terms and conditions do not confer any benefits to third parties. No third party is entitled to enforce rights under this agreement unless agreed upon in writing.
Any dispute or claim must be submitted within 30 days from the date of the booked pickup. Claims and disputes made after this timeframe will not be entertained by Fichley Cabs.
